Why leave your prized piano or organ in the hands of amateurs, when you can hire Movers Pasadena? Our crews undergo training in the correct packing and relocating of fragile or heavy instruments. We use industry-specific equipment and tools to ensure no damage occurs during transit. And best of all, we can move any size of piano at a flat-rate cost!

All you need to do is supply details of your instrument and residency, and we’ll do the hard work. Just tell us the type/model of your piano and send us pictures. Please also tell us if we’ll encounter any stairs, steep hills, uneven surfaces, or elevators during the move. Once we have these details, we’ll give you a quote, and reserve your move slot.

How are Piano Moves Performed?

Your assigned crew will carefully dismantle your piano, removing the note holder and lid. These will be expertly wrapped in moving pads, while the body of your piano will also be wrapped in plastic. We transport Grand Pianos on their sides with legs and lyre removed and separately wrapped. With your permission, to avoid any misunderstandings, we may take photographs of pre-existing damage.

We’ll then load your instrument onto our truck and securely attach it to the wall using ratchet straps. When we arrive at your new location, we’ll arrange your piano to your liking, remove all wrapping, and reassemble any removed parts. Please note that pianos generally require retuning after being moved, but we do not provide this service.

* Piano services include 3 hours of total services and up to 40 miles of travelling round trip from our parking lot in Pasadena.
